In the beginning

A little background about me. My name is Anne im in my mid forties and live in a seaside village in Northern Ireland.

 I was diagnosed way back in 2011 as having the genetic condition Neurofibromatosis Type 1 (more about that at a later date).   I feel it's very important to raise awareness.

 I have one son, two cats and a dog, sadly no donkey although my late Aunt was the proud owner of one. 

 As ive been unwell lately i though id start an online diary of sorts, so, even if no one except me reads my blog it will give me something to do and keep a record of books ive read and crafts etc.

I've just finished reading In a Summer Season by Elizabeth Taylor (no not that one lol ...) so will share my thoughts later this week.
